The One in Specs is an art blog which features everything under the sun that inspires me to create and incites my curiosity and I am a 22 year old, trying to beat the evil procrastination monster and write an ‘About’ on a Saturday night because I’ve decided to commit this blogging business. I like coffee over tea, winters over summers, books over their movie adaptations, and I can’t decide between dogs and cats, I don’t know the answer to ‘beaches or mountains?’ yet, I plan on finding soon. Anyway, this is a conversation for another day.
The One in Specs is an experiment. It is my attempt at something – creative, expressive and insightful all at the same time. It is a genre-less, writing roller coaster ride.
While I might not always churn out masterpieces of literature, I assure you when you read these blogs you’ll smile maybe laugh (because I can be really funny), you’ll find them corny (because I really get in the feels), you’ll ask questions (because I share food for thought, the only kind of food I share. I am Joey otherwise and “Joey doesn’t share food”). There’ll be times you’ll like what you read and there’ll also be times when you’ll be a critique and I am all in for all of it.
